Child Massage Class
(3 - 6 years)

Massage is a wonderful experience for both your child and you. It is all about nurturing touch and being together in a very loving way. No matter how rough your day (or night!) has been, you will both feel better during and after the massage. The benefits of massage are endless. In addition to being a wonderful way to bond, massage helps your little one's neurological, physical and emotional development, soothes aches and pains and relieves tension.

During this class you will learn how to give a full-body massage to your child. Age appropriate stories, games, finger rhymes, songs and rituals will be incorporated into the class and the massage. Children will learn about body boundaries, respect for body and self and are encouraged to verbalize their likes/dislikes. A Mini Mommy/Daddy Massage will be taught to children willing to engage more.

Moms and dads (or other caregivers) are both welcome to attend with their child. A bottle of massage oil and a book about Child Massage will be provided.
