Baby Massage Class
(3 weeks - pre-crawling)

Infant Massage is a wonderful experience for both your baby and you. It is all about nurturing touch and being together in a very loving way. No matter how rough your day (or night!) has been, you will both feel better during and after the massage. The benefits to baby massage are endless. In addition to being a wonderful way to bond, baby massage helps your little one's neurological, physical and emotional development, soothes aches and pains (like colic) and relieves tension.

During class, you will learn how to give your baby a full-body massage, when to massage and when not to, understand your babies behavioral states, how to relieve a troubled tummy (colic and gas), which techniques to use for bedtime and which ones more for active time, and much more.

Babies rule this class; feeding, diapering, sleeping, crying and laughing are all welcomed! Moms and dads (or other caregivers) are both welcome to attend with their baby. A bottle of massage oil and a book about Infant/Child Massage will be provided.
